Here are some key points about the added value of this feature:

• Increased motivation: Reward systems, such as badges and points, encourage users to engage more and interact more actively with the platform. This stimulates interest and promotes regular use.

• Personal progress tracking: The progress system allows users to see their own progress, which reinforces a sense of accomplishment. This can be very motivating for users who want to set personal goals.

• Community engagement: Comparing performance with other users is not intended to create unhealthy competition, but rather to promote a dynamic of collaboration and positive emulation. In addition, this system also makes it possible to identify “resource” persons internally based on their specific strengths and skills. For example, a user who stands out in organizing meetings could be identified as a “meeting pro,” making it easier to collaborate with colleagues looking for advice or help on this specific topic.

How do I hide badges?

We fully understand that this feature may not be for everyone. If you want, you can deactivate this feature for your account. To do this, go to My Settings (1), under Preferences (2) where you can deactivate the Gamification toggle (3).
